Yeah, did you hear about it at all? The performance... game. Whatever you want to call it, was Wed, Bed, Behead.
The families were split up into two groups of four. The Unholy Disorder, Siren's Melodies, Forge and Sunsign were all one group. Eonia, Cirrus, Acidia, and the Holy Order were the other group.
Each family had to pick which one they would wed, bed, or behead. And each one of those carried a punishment worse than the last. Behead meaning that you died.
[He leans back against the couch. The game seriously sucked. Who even thinks up something as twisted as that?]
. . . I tried to guess how I assumed each other family would vote in relationship to the Unholy Disorder. I knew that Forge had the least amount of connections with us, and so they were likely to send Behead our way. And I knew that Siren's would choose to protect Forge, so they would send them Wed, but probably not give us the worst option. And Sunsign... I just hoped and prayed for the best, honestly. But I thought they were unlikely to behead us due to the children.
[He runs a hand through his hair.]
I guessed right. And so did all of the other families in our group. Miraculously, by sending the same punishment to each other, we all managed to cancel them out. But that wasn't the same for the other group.
